L200 Lift

Available in both “F” (Fixed) and “R” (Rails) System

The L200 Lift is our smallest lift and is suitable for boats in the 9.5 – 12.5 metres LOA range, or if the working weight of your tender/dinghy/jet ski is under 200kgs. This lift has a 12- or 24-volt electric motor ram system and is made to order to suit your specific requirements. The length of the rail in the R series will be determined by the customer prior to order.
Rail lengths of 800mm, 900mm, 1100mm, 1300mm and 1500mm, are available.

The major differences between the L200 lift and the larger XL500 lift, are:

  • A smaller maximum lifting capacity [200 kgs versus 500 kgs.]
  • The L200 Lift uses electric linear motors instead of hydraulic rams.

The L200 is ideal for boats that may be sensitive to carrying too much weight on the stern or whose owners use a lighter dinghy or tender, i.e., tenders generally having no centre console and use a smaller/lighter outboard motor. The F series version generally can be fitted to an existing swim platform or marlin board, without the need for stronger supporting brackets underneath. However, prior to ordering a lift, it is essential the owner checks this aspect with the marine workshop installing the lift, the manufacturer of the boat or a competent boat builder. Note also the Warranty and Terms and Conditions of Purchase on pages 2 and 3 respectively the PrestoMarine Australia Order Form

It has self-adjusting chocks to fit different hull designs such as fibreglass, hard floor inflatables or aluminum.

The L200 lift is also suitable for transporting smaller jet skis such as a Sea-Doo Spark

The chocks for carrying a jet ski are supplied/fitted at the time of order.

Costs [2024]

L200 F:    US$11,700.00 [approximately AU$17,785.00], excluding import duties and taxes and broker’s clearing fee, if applicable.

L200 R:    US$13,800.00 [approximately AU$21, 100.00], excluding import duties and taxes and broker’s clearing fee, if applicable.

Import Duties, Taxes & Broker’s Clearing Fee

These costs vary with individual orders and can only be determined upon arrival of the goods into Australia or New Zealand. The purchaser is responsible for these costs, which are additional to the lift costs quoted above, as well as clearing the goods through customs, either personally or with the assistance of a customs clearance broker.

As a guide, in Australia, GST (10%) is payable on the total of: (i) the invoice price of the goods, (ii) the cost to transport the goods to Australia, (iii) the cost to insure the goods in transit and (iv) any duty payable on the goods. If a licensed broker is engaged to clear the goods through customs, the fee is likely to be in the range $250 – $400. My ‘rule of thumb’ for estimating these additional costs is to use approximately 15% of the cost of the lift.
